The Hole Experience
Hole 10 resets the round with a firm handshake. After the turn, it asks you to find your rhythm again quickly. The tee shot needs to be positive, but not reckless. A player who stands up here without a clear plan can easily leave themselves a difficult second shot.
The fairway is the priority. From there, the approach is manageable, but still asks for good distance control and awareness of the pin. If the wind is moving across the hole, take your time before committing to a line. Natadola Bay’s breeze can make a well-struck ball finish several metres from where it first appeared to be heading.
This is a good hole for returning to fundamentals. Balanced drive, sensible target, committed approach. Make par here and the inward nine begins with confidence.
