The Hole Experience

Hole 6 is one of the great moments at Natadola Bay. From the elevated tee, the landscape opens beautifully, and it is easy to understand why this hole is often remembered by visiting golfers. The temptation is to stand there admiring the view, but the shot still needs your full attention.

The fairway gives longer players the chance to be bold, particularly if the wind is favourable. But this is not a hole to attack casually. The best drive is one that sets up a clear second shot, either to advance confidently or to lay up to a trusted number. The player who understands their own carry distance will have a clear advantage here.

If you are considering reaching in two, be honest about the lie, the wind and the trouble around the green. For many golfers, the smarter route is three controlled shots and a real birdie putt. This hole rewards imagination, but only when it is supported by discipline.
