The Hole Experience
Hole 13 is a par 3 that rewards a proper golf shot. The target is clear, but the conditions may not be. Depending on the breeze, this hole can play very differently from one day to the next. That is part of its charm and its challenge.
The first step is choosing the right club. Do not be afraid to take one more if the wind is into you or if the pin is tucked behind trouble. A smooth swing with enough club is almost always better than trying to force a shorter one.
The centre of the green is a strong target here. If you hit it close, enjoy the chance. If you leave yourself a longer putt, accept that you have made the mature play. This hole is less about brilliance and more about avoiding the mistake that leads to a difficult up-and-down.
